Graduate Student Storer Seminars
The Storer Endowment also has a program to allocate funds from the Storer Endowment in support of speakers participating in regularly scheduled graduate group seminar series in the life sciences. The allocations for individual speakers are intended to permit bringing distinguished speakers from off campus at the frequency of one per quarter per graduate group. These speakers need not be restricted to US scientists, though likely most would be domestic. In keeping with the spirit of the Storer Endowment for Life Science, this allocation is available to all graduate groups in life sciences. The procedure is similar to nomination of Major Issues or Storer Lecturers. Nominations are submitted by the faculty advisor to the respective seminar series.
